The Ministry of Finance, In the name and on behalf of the state of Norway,
Oslo, Norway has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG
that via shares its Voting Rights on LANXESS Aktiengesellschaft,
Leverkusen, Germany, have exceeded the 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on
February 18, 2013 and on that day amounted to 5.004% (this corresponds to
4163746 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 5.004%
of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 4163746 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company via Norges Bank.
