Viscom AG: Preliminary result for 2014 - Viscom posts significant rise in revenue and earnings


- Revenue: EUR 62,254 thousand (previous year: EUR 49,820 thousand, +25.0     %)

- EBIT: EUR 9,378 thousand (previous year: EUR 6,772 thousand, +38.5 %)
  - EBIT-Margin: 15.1 % (previous year: 13.6 %)



Hanover, 24 February 2015 - According to preliminary figures, Viscom AG (ISIN DE0007846867) once again significantly increased earnings and revenue in the fourth quarter of 2014, exceeding the annual forecast for 2014.
Viscom AG generated revenue of EUR 62,254 thousand in the past financial year, an increase of around 25.0 % year on year (previous year: EUR 49,820 thousand), and even surpassed the previous record set in 2011 (EUR 53,499 thousand). This means that Viscom AG has exceeded its own annual revenue forecast of EUR 55 million to EUR 60 million for the 2014 financial year.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also developed positively in the 2014 financial year. At EUR 9,378 thousand, EBIT was up 38.5 % on the corresponding previous year's figure (previous year: EUR 6,772 thousand). The EBIT-Margin stood at 15.1 %, up on the forecasted EBIT-Margin of 13 % to 15 %.

With these results Viscom AG has lived up to its good performance in the third quarter of 2014, thereby making the revenue of the past financial year the best in the company's history.

These preliminary figures are subject to the attestation of the auditor and the approval of the Supervisory Board. The final key figures on the Group's financial position and earnings situation for the 2014 financial year as well as the forecasts for the 2015 financial year will be published on 24 March 2015.
