Viscom AG: Preliminary result for 2012 - EBIT higher than expected
Hanover, 27 February 2013 - Viscom AG (ISIN DE0007846867) has completed the 2012 financial year with a positive result.

At around EUR 50 million (previous year: EUR 53.5 million), revenue was slightly down on the expected EUR 52 to 54 million. However, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were higher than forecast. The reason for the slightly lower revenue was last year's weak second quarter, which was not compensated for by the strong second half of the year with its good year-end business.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were particularly positive in the past financial year. EBIT totalled around EUR 9.2 million (previous year: EUR 12 million). This corresponds to an EBIT margin of 18.5 % (previous year: 22.5 %). As a result, the EBIT margin exceeded the range stated in the guidance for 2012 (13 % to 17 %).

These preliminary figures are subject to the attestation of the auditor and the approval of the Supervisory Board. The final key figures on the Group's financial position and earnings situation for the 2012 financial year will be published on 26 March 2013.
