Sergei Anokhin appointed as the Senior Vice-President of Rostelecom

April 5, 2017, Moscow - Rostelecom PJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY) today announces that Sergei Anokhin has been appointed as the Company's Senior Vice-President. In his new position, he will be primarily responsible for a number of areas including strategic planning and coordination of activities on strategy implementation, M&A and Investor Relations. Sergei will also be responsible for the implementation of innovative development and operating efficiency programmes, as well as for projects relating to the transformation of Rostelecom's business.

Sergei Anokhin was born in Moscow in 1979. He graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a Degree in Finance and Credit. Prior to joining Rostelecom, Mr. Anokhin had a successful career in high tech and banking sectors that spanned 17 years. His professional path started as a consultant and head of projects undertaken to implement planning and financial reporting systems in a SAS company, which culminated in a role as head of financial sector practice. In 2007 he moved to the banking sector as a Vice-President and head of department, and later in 2011, as a Vice President and deputy CFO at VTB24 retail bank.

In 2014 Mr. Anokhin joined VTB parent bank as a Senior Vice President and CFO of the newly established unit for mid-sized business sector at VTB. He also served as the head of economic planning at the Bank of Moscow, where he was responsible for integration of processes, systems and staff during the merger of Bank of Moscow and VTB bank in 2015-2016. Sergei Anokhin was directly involved in creating and executing both institutions' strategies.
