On May 06, 2013, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zürich, Switzerland has informed
us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on Bayer Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Germany, have
exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on April 30, 2013 and on
that day amounted to 3.04% (this corresponds to 25110555 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.00% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 24778842 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company from Credit Suisse AG.
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in conjunction with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 0.04% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
331713 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
