Partnership with NetEase Inc.

Codemasters (AIM: CDM), the video game developer and publisher specialising in high quality racing games, is pleased to announce it has entered into a strategic partnership with NetEase Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES), a leading internet technology company in China that operates some of the most popular international online games in China.

Under the terms of the agreement NetEase will be the exclusive publisher for three of Codemasters' upcoming PC titles within China, commencing with DiRT Rally 2.0. As part of the agreement, NetEase will invest in marketing and localising the games to accelerate their growth in the territory. It will also be responsible for obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals in China. Revenue resulting from this partnership shall be shared between the parties.

This partnership is in line with the Group's objective to develop key strategic relationships in order to expand its audience and catalyse further growth. China is the world's biggest gaming market and presents a major opportunity for Codemasters in the future.
