New Chief Operating Officer for ALNO

Starting January, Frank Wiedenmaier will be responsible for production, purchasing, logistics and quality.

Pfullendorf, 21 December 2015 – Frank Wiedenmaier (51) takes over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 1 January 2016 at ALNO AG, assuming responsibility for all areas of Operations. This includes all plants, purchasing, logistics and quality.  'Frank Wiedenmaier has a profound understanding and unrivalled expertise when it comes to the production of complex technical goods using modern methods and standards. For this reason he is best suited to align the ALNO AG plant structures with the growth strategy for the future,' says ALNO CEO Max Müller, with pleasure.

After receiving his degree in mechanical engineering at Constance Technical College, Mr Wiedenmaier started his career at AEG Electrocom GmbH in Constance, Germany.  Following that, he changed positions to EvoBus GmbH where he held many responsibilities including Technical Director and Project Manager for a Spanish plant, as well as Division Manager and Service Centre Director. After holding a position as one of the Business Unit Directors at Schmitz Cargobull AG, Mr Wiedenmaier has, since 2009, also been active as member of the Executive Board (COO) of the Novoferm-Group for production, product development, logistics, supply chain and strategic purchasing.
