ALNO expands its material expertise

Enger/Hiddenhausen, 13 September 2014 – Competence in Design and Innovation. Under this motto, ALNO has been adding new accents to kitchen design ideas for decades. Therefore, it seems only fitting that the brand would present itself as a driver of innovation at this year's Kitchen Mile A30 trade show from 13 to 19 September, part of the company's Design Tour. Products on display will include ALNOCERA Concretto ceramic front panels, with their concrete-like visual effect – a uniquely resistant and elegant addition to the front panel market.

ALNO is now offering both kitchen planners and consumers a brand-new level of individuality: at its main factory in Pfullendorf, the company is manufacturing all of its ALNOFINE (matte finish), ALNOSUND (textured finish), ALNOSHAPE (textured finish), ALNOBRIT (textured finish), ALNOSTAR FINE (matte finish) and ALNOSTAR SUND (textured finish) series panels in the entire range of RAL and NCS colours – an unprecedented variety.

Maximum quality is par for the course

As expected, innovation and product quality go hand in hand in the new line of ALNO kitchen designs. With the new laser edging machine1, borders are seamlessly applied to front panels, ensuring a clean look. This unique laser technology makes signs of ageing and wear and tear a concern of the past, and it's already included in the price of many ALNO front panel designs.

Exclusive combination of technology, design and art

Kitchen planners with a penchant for technology and materials find their money's worth at ALNO. Ceramic surfaces, which are extremely difficult to work with, are now available in Concretto, a unique and timeless concrete-like style. ALNO also offers electrical slatted cabinets (mounted cupboards or wall units) in glass or ceramic to meet the highest standards of ease and convenience for everyday use.

For more artistic tastes, ALNO has partnered with the German artist Hendrik Tuttlies to create Galerie, a specially designed glass backsplash that offers a completely new range of flexible colour contrast options for modern and minimalistic kitchen designs. Numerous works are available in both full format as well as stripe patterns against a white background for maximum adaptability to a variety of colour schemes.

Exceptional innovations

The innovative power of ALNO is highly recognized by both consumers and industry experts, as is evident in the number of awards and accolades the company has received. In 2014, it was named the favourite brand among consumers as part of the KitchenInnovation of the Year award. It also received the 2014 iF Communication Design Award in three categories: Corporate Design, Cross Media Campaign and Living Book. ALNOSTAR CERA also won a Special Mention from the German Design Award. For 2015, three series, ALNOBRIT, ALNO SHAPE/SUND and ALNOPRIME, are up for the German Design Award.
