Munich, 25 April 2017 - Ringmetall AG (ISIN: DE0006001902) announces the resignation of Mr. Jörg Rafael (70) from the Management Board of the company as planned. From 2003 until 2011 he was sole Management Board member of the predecessor company of Ringmetall, H.P.I. Holding AG.

Within the Management Board Jörg Rafael was, inter alia, entrusted with the integration of the
US-subsidiary Self Industries into Ringmetall Group on-site in the USA, which was successfully
concluded by the end of 2016. In the past months he was responsible for further developing the Industrial Handling segment. As mutually agreed, he will be leaving the Management Board of the company as of 30 April and will accompany Ringmetall as a consultant for two further years.

The Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Ringmetall AG especially thank Mr. Rafael for the many years of his support and for introducing his expertise into Ringmetall Group. For his
future and the time in retirement, the company wishes him continued success and personally all the best.
