SNP AG receives another major order for transformation software at German industrial group

- Agreement signed for multi-year collaboration on digital transformation

- SNP's standard software lays the foundations for harmonising and consolidating SAP systems across the Group

Heidelberg, 19 May 2016 - SNP AG is continuing its successful business performance in the area of software-assisted digital transformations with another major order. As the company has announced, an agreement has been concluded for a multi-year collaboration with a global industrial group from Germany. The contract has a total volume in the low seven-figure range. This partnership highlights SNP AG's excellent performance in global IT projects. Thanks to its standard software, SNP is one of the leading companies on the market for the digital transformation of IT landscapes worldwide, allowing customers to make change one of their core competencies.

The DAX-listed industrial group is streamlining and standardising its processes and data in order to quickly use opportunities arising from digitalisation. The aim here is lean and efficient IT support for business processes. To achieve this, a global IT infrastructure with a few data centres is being established in order to work securely in the Cloud. The intragroup service provider is now merging processes that are currently decentralised with distributed data in a central SAP landscape. A key requirement is the implementation of standardised data definitions. SNP's standard software is being used here: SNP Transformation Backbone guarantees the risk-free and efficient transformation of very large data volumes into new definitions.
