September 2012 wurde uns folgendes mitgeteilt: On 1 September 2012, the stake of The Capital Group Companies, Inc., Los Angeles, CA 90071, USA, in the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holdings AG, Dachauer Straße 665, 80995 München exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10%. On that day, The Capital Group Companies, Inc., held 13.06% (6,788,868 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)) in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holdings AG. 13.06% (6,788,868 ordinary shares) of all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holdings AG were attributed to The Capital Group Companies, Inc. pursuant to section 22(1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with section 22 (1) sent. 2 and sent. 3 WpHG. Of those voting rights arising from 6,788,868 ordinary shares, voting rights arising from 2,330,000 ordinary shares (4.48%) were held by The Growth Fund of America, Inc., Los Angeles, CA 90071, USA, and voting rights arising from 1,835,346 ordinary shares (3.53%) were held by Fundamental Investors, Los Angeles, CA 90071, USA, which are thus shareholders holding a stake of 3% or more in the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines Holdings AG. The notification of voting rights of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. regarding MTU Aero Engines Holdings AG is solely based on an internal re-organization of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. and its group companies.
