On 19 August 2013, BlackRock HoldCo 2, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, USA, notified us pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that its share of voting rights in Aareal Bank AG, Wiesbaden, Germany, fell below the threshold of 3% on 15 August 2013 and amounts to 2.9995% (1,795,424 shares) on that day. All voting rights in Aareal Bank AG are attributed to BlackRock HoldCo 2, Inc. pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
